Schaltbau Machine Electrics has been supplying electrical components into industrial applications since 1968. During this time the company has built a reputation for high quality, reliability, competitiveness and versatility. Since 2008 Schaltbau Machine Electrics Ltd has been a subsidiary of Schaltbau GmbH headquartered in Munich, Germany.

Operating worldwide we distribute, manufacture and repair electrical components for customers in a wide variety of industries. Our dedicated staff and network of distributors and agents guarantees that no matter where they are located in the world our customers receive the highest standard of service and parts when it counts.

We have invested heavily in recent years in order to increase our manufacturing plant and distribution capabilities. Combined with our close working relationships with many of the industries major manufacturers, we enable our customers to be at the cutting edge of their markets. Every item that leaves our warehouse is subject to stringent quality procedures that comply to ISO9001:2000, in addition all relevant international standards are adhered to.

Areas of operation:

PART DISTRIBUTION –we stock and distribute a wide range of components into electrical vehicle industries, specialising in connectors, control units, contactors and associated parts. We are authorized dealers for Anderson and Sevcon and a master distributor for all Schaltbau products.

MANUFACTURING –Based in South Wales our versatile manufacturing unit is able to offer our customers both bespoke and mass produced switch gear products. In addition we have a production line dedicated to battery cable harness assembly.

REPAIRS –We are able to offer a repair service for any make or type of controller used on fork lift trucks. Quickly, effectively and at a competitive price we can fix your controller and get you moving again.
